One more Golden Fox event was successfully accomplished, actually the 46th already and this time with a perfect triumph of the Austrian skier Kathrin Zettel. To her Saturday's GS victory the Austrian added one more, she won the slalom race, and she could also celebrate in the Golden Fox overall. The leading Austrian after the first run, Marlies Schild, didn't finish the second run and let the opportunity for another victory go. Tina Maze took care of the joy of some 10.000 fans. The skier from Črna, who was ninth after the first run and showed one of her best slalom performances in the second run, improved her placement to the second rank, which is the best slalom result in her carreer. The third place went to the German, Maria Riesch, who took the lead in the World Cup overall with that result.

In the special combination of the Golden Fox, Kathrin Zettel with two victories is an absolute winner. Second was Maria Riesch and third the Slovenian, Tina Maze. Next to Tina Maze, another Slovenian, Maruša Ferk, qualified and was 16th in the end.
