ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS

Access control systems make it possible to limit entrance into certain protected sectors as well as control over entrances and exits of certain individuals.

System, which enables opening of various entrances (doors, gates) in a simple way through cards, remote controls, finger prints…

These systems can be roughly divided into:

  • OFF LINE systems – which do not have any computer support. Proper registration (light or acoustic signal) causes opening of the doors. The door open time duration can be programmed and in case of wrong registration the system can be set in order to raise the alarm or block the door ...
  • ON LINE systems – which are computer supported, meaning, that we have overview of all events at any time. These events can be documented and the programme enables us to either add or seize cards, set time delays and so on. The programme is protected with passwords, which enable the supervisor to accurately set accesses to individual users.

The basic building blocks of the access control systems are the following:

  • cards
  • card readers
  • terminals
  • software

Advantages:

  • it is not necessary to carry keys,
  • records of entrances and exits,
  • simple protection of essential premises in the company...
