The sufficiency of acoustic insulation of construction members due to protection (airborne sound, impact sound) as well as passive protection of the facilities against communal sound (including the builders' joinery) must be supported and proven by calculations during the first stage of preparation of project documentation as required by the applicable legislation. Such calculating methods are also used for reorganisation of the noise at the place of the reception and the place of the noise source.
An adequate thermal protection represents a condition for the efficient use of energy in buildings, as required by the applicable legislation. The thickness and the type of the insulation tape, the diffusion characteristics of water vapour and the necessary energy for heating are only a few of many applications, which are verified in the construction physics studies. This part is an obligatory part of the project documentation.
In order to determine the conformity of the premises (accommodation, working and so on) within the meaning of burdening with the noise, the legislation provides the limit noise levels for premises according to their intended purpose. The actual situation can be evaluated only with measures which can be performed at the customers request, in case he believes that the noise is to disturbing either as a result of the excessive impact of the environment, or as an inadequate acoustic insulation.
The installed ventilation systems in facilities and buildings must fulfil the statutory standards. Their conformity is verified through measures. We perform measurements on new buildings prior the technical takeover while the existing systems are checked depending on how they fulfil requirements for a certain area (requirements for working and living environment, Act on smoking and so on).
