There are three types of video surveillance systems:

• classical analog systems where cameras with analog transfer of video signal are used;
• IP-video surveillance systems where IP or IP-megapixel cameras are used; the image is digitally transferred through computer network system according to the TCP/IP protocol;
• Hybrid system, which is a combination of analog and IP video control system.
